Alberta Coalition of Healthy School Communities
This website is a primary tool for increasing knowledge exchange about school health promotion and enhancing network development. You will find that it includes information about the ACHSC and provides links to key organizations and publications

Alberta Milk offers nutrition education information and resources. Go to the section on Nutrition and Education, and click on “Teacher Resources”, “Nutrition Month”, “Reality Check”. Recipes and written resources are also available.

Alberta’s Promise

Alberta's Promise is a movement to inspire communities, businesses, service clubs, foundations and agencies to work together to direct more resources to benefit Alberta children and youth. Non- profit organizations can apply to become a partner, and be matched with other organizations in the community, who may then provide resources to support local initiatives for children.

British Columbia Directorate of Agencies for School Health (DASH)
This site has a number of resources and reports relating to school health and nutrition. “Making it Happen: Healthy Eating at School” is an in-depth, online how-to resource to help parents, policymakers, teachers and the school community to review current school nutrition policy and make plans for healthy changes. “About School Health” and “School Food and Nutrition in BC” are links to check out as well.
